that I first learned by ear on site, from natives speaking the words.. long time ago now.. those were a little exciting moments to me.
niche 壁がん
古代ローマ風建築の壁によくある飾り棚のこと。
派生して「適所」の意味に使われる。
「ニッチ」という響きも意味も居心地良さそう…あったらいいのに…私のニッチ。
